Before I can even think of the hundred uses for vintage crates, I am first smitten by their beauty. The rustic and worn-out look spells country which is so appealing to me
{especially those with labels or trademark signs}. But how to incorporate this countrified look to our modern homes can be a challenge. Thanks to the many creative people who have shown how it can be done in any style of home.
My kitchen is devoid of a lot of walls and open shelving, so inspired by a lot of ideas from blogland, I tried my hand creating a vignette {in a tiny corner by the stove} using an old crate I found in a charming vintage shop in Old Town Temecula, Vintage Begonia.
And here are more inspirations from all over.
