~The Beauty Around Us~

“A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry,

and see a fine picture every day of his  life,

in order that worldly cares may not obliterate

the sense of the beautiful which God has

implanted in the human soul.” ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

~Hello July~

Summer goes on in July and I welcome changes in my life as
I sail to new shores. The past is resting now and I look
forward to unseen adventures and a new way of
caring for myself.

~Bathrooms With Vintage Touches~

Here are images I have gathered of lovely bathrooms with vintage touches.
Like any other part of a home, the bathroom can be made
charming and cozy with well chosen vintage pieces.

~Home Inspiration: A Vintage Home With Flea Market Finds~

I love the fact that homes can be restored, relationships reconciled, and
there is hope for beauty once more. So I was so thrilled
when I found this article on  BHG {Better Homes and Gardens} about
a dilapidated house that has been restored to a lovely vintage
retreat filled with flea market finds, everything in its
natural patina. Once more...I am in love.
