Cottage Dreams

A dear friend of mine who loves cottage once told me that she wished she had two homes- one with her husband and kid, and the other all to herself. This way she can decorate one home to her heart's desire and not worry about her decor being too feminine.

I have exactly the same wish, to my surprise- { I thought I was the only one with silly dreams}. Far from a cottage-style home, I live in a modest California home with Mediterranean exterior. I have decorated the interior with French-country-style-look-alike when we bought the house twelve years ago.  Until I started dreaming.......
