~Must Love Vintage~

I love all things vintage but I think there is an art to putting together these
time-honored treasures. After all, are we not afraid of having a
"home like grandma" or be surrounded by antiquities bordering
an eerie home ambiance?
But thanks to the words pretty and beautiful! In our world of  inspired
creativity, we are able to mix and make pretty {and beautiful} these
priceless {and sometimes pricey} possessions.
Here are some of my inspirations.

~Home Inspiration: A Vintage Home With Flea Market Finds~

I love the fact that homes can be restored, relationships reconciled, and
there is hope for beauty once more. So I was so thrilled
when I found this article on  BHG {Better Homes and Gardens} about
a dilapidated house that has been restored to a lovely vintage
retreat filled with flea market finds, everything in its
natural patina. Once more...I am in love.

So all things French vintage inspire me- in the country, cottage, or
farmhouse style. Distressed, rusted, worn are beautiful words
that mean history, a longing for a past serene life, a story
that was told, or simply a life well-lived.

~Sunday Dreaming- A Home In Provence~

Who really would not want a home in Provence? This picturesque region of
southeastern France filled with lavender and sunflower fields, olive groves,
vineyards, historic castles, and beautiful villas. I have never been
there and probably should not go.....because I might never leave.
But this beautiful Sunday is a perfect day for
dreaming of a home in Provence.
