Lovely and Pretty Teacups

I admire teacups just as one would admire a great painting. Though I am not your tea party lady, this delicate tea vessel warms my heart as I grace its shape and design.

I started a small collection some years ago but still don't have a dedicated spot to display their beauty. For now, I will let these tea inspirations grace my blog and hope to one day share my own beautiful teacup collection with you.

"i believe in pink.

i believe laughing is the best calorie burner.

i believe in kissing, kissing a lot.

i believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong.

i believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls.

i believe that tomorrow is another day,

and i believe in miracles." audrey hepburn

White Inspirations

I love colors but the best way to use them in decorating is by having white walls like a blank canvass. White allows me to imbue color to home furniture and accessories. I don't have to commit to any particular color and I can change my color scheme anytime. But sometimes I wonder how my house would look like in an all-white palette. For now, here are some inspirations.

Of Wire and Things

I have always admired things made of wire- simple things- from baskets, to trays, and a gazillion other things. My wonderful niece, Michelle {2000milesaway-michelle.blogspot.com}, once told me that she loves chairs just as I love "wired" things. The thing is, it's not simply liking. There is a soul-deep admiration to these things that we love and I have no word for it. But let me share them with you.....

The Floating Homes of Sausalito

If there is one more place to visit in Sausalito, it would be the water homes that spell a totally different charm. How would that really look like? Nothing short of a house on land- with lovely exterior designs, small pot gardens, and lovely patios overlooking the water.

                                                             And yes...that's me!

Lovely Sausalito

If one were to ask me where Sausalito is, I would say- on the other side of San Francisco. For it is indeed a charming city in the bay area located "on the other side of San Francisco".

The picturesque view of water front summer houses and hillside estates enthralled me with this feeling of wholesome pleasure, ultimate relaxation, and the cozy feeling of HOME.

A walk in the city takes one to shops, water front restaurants, a park with old world charm, and narrower streets lined by cozy-looking hillside houses.

And if you are lucky enough, you get to see an amusing scene like this....

The song goes..."I left my heart in San Francisco"......I left mine in Sausalito.
